Haven Paediatrics was established to give Brisbane families access to thorough, unhurried specialist care — in a space as calm and considered as its name suggests.
Founded on a passion for better paediatric care
Haven Paediatrics was born from Dr Erin Norman’s conviction that specialist paediatric care in Brisbane could — and should — be done differently. After more than a decade working across public and private hospital settings, she recognised that families navigating complex or ongoing paediatric needs often found the system fragmented, rushed, and difficult to navigate.
Haven Paediatrics was designed as the answer. A private specialist practice where appointment times are protected, where no concern is too small, and where families aren’t passed between providers without clear continuity. Every detail — from the clinic environment to the way consultations are structured — has been considered with that goal in mind.
Today, Haven Paediatrics serves families across greater Brisbane, offering specialist care from the newborn period through to adolescence. Whether your child is here for a routine developmental check, a complex ongoing condition, or something in between, the experience is the same: calm, thorough, and family-centred.

A message from our founder
Haven Paediatrics was created to be the specialist paediatric practice I would want to take my own children to—one where patients are never rushed, families are treated as genuine partners in care, and trust is at the heart of everything we do.
Throughout my career in both public and private paediatrics, I have seen the challenges families face, whether navigating the complexities of the healthcare system, feeling unheard, or being left without a clear path forward. I believed that by building a practice that elevates the standard of traditional healthcare and attracts the most talented specialists, Haven Paediatrics could help overcome these challenges.
From your very first interaction with Haven Paediatrics, you will feel heard. Our administration team will be there to answer any questions you may have and guide you through the process. Your time will be valued—we schedule our appointments to run on time. You will feel comfortable—our purpose-built practice has been designed exclusively for children and their families. Most importantly, you will be cared for by warm, understanding paediatricians who are highly trained Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
